As a follow-up to last week’s piece on medicinal herbs, CBS58 morning news anchor Asa George came in for another visit on 8/3 to tape a segment on receiving a treatment from Joseph Cannariato. She came in nervous and worn out, and left relaxed and happy. Her comment at the end of the treatment: “I didn’t know what to expect, but now I feel great!”

She plans on integrating the treatment video with some of the earlier information for a special segment to run during the regular morning news broadcast sometime the week of 8/9. Keep your eyes open for a great example of how a simple de-stress treatment can change the outlook of even someone as harried as a TV broadcaster.

CBS58 Morning Anchor Asa George visited the Jing Well main clinic in West Allis on July 20, and spoke with Joseph Cannariato to gain a better understanding of acupuncture and natural medicine. Her initial series of questions will be broken into three segments, the first of which aired on Tuesday, August 3.

Joe’s goal in providing the information to the reporter was to help demystify the topic and help people who are considering alternative care to understand what’s in the realm of possibility.

Joe’s perspective as a native Milwaukeean, who understands both the urgent need for results and the skepticism in testing new solutions, put Ms. George enough at ease that she was even willing to have a few needles inserted on camera. The duo are discussing further interviews to continue to deepen public awareness of what to expect and how to work with a complementary care practitioner.

“Live your life that the fear of death can never enter your heart. Trouble no one about his religion. Respect others in their views and demand that they respect yours. Love your life, perfect your life, beautify all things in your life. Seek to make your life long and of service to your people. Prepare a noble death song for the day when you go over the great divide.

Always give a word or sign of salute when meeting or passing a friend, or even a stranger, if in a lonely place. Show respect to all people, but grovel to none. When you rise in the morning, give thanks for the light, for your life, for your strength. Give thanks for your food and for the joy of living. If you see no reason to give thanks, the fault lies in yourself.

Abuse no one and no thing, for abuse turns the wise ones to fools and robs the spirit of its vision. When your time comes to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song, and die like a hero going home.”
